Spinnaker Coating Announces Promotion of Joel Ulrich to Roll Product Manager

Troy, Ohio – December 15, 2015 – Spinnaker Coating, LLC, a manufacturer of pressure sensitive paper and film products for the printing industry, announces the promotion of Joel Ulrich to product manager. Joel replaces Julie Billing who was promoted to the company’s technical department. In this position, Joel is responsible for the oversight and optimization of the roll products portfolio.

“Joel is an ideal fit for this position,” said Mike Marasch, vice president roll marketing and sales. “He understands Spinnaker and our customers, and is dedicated to optimizing the relationship between our customers’ needs and the materials and services Spinnaker can offer to our PS customers. Joel’s exposure to the PS industry began on a press and progressed through a variety of positions that gives him a broad understanding of what our customers want and need from their suppliers.” Marasch added, “His understanding of the industry will help us continue to position Spinnaker as the leader in serving the underserved segments of the PS market. “

Joel has been with Spinnaker since 2011 in the position of marketing coordinator, during which time he worked on a number of important projects to enhance the roll product line. Most recently he has been deeply involved in creating programs that build partnerships with digital printer original equipment manufacturers.

Before joining Spinnaker, Joel worked for Avery/Paxar, where he last served as Global Product Development Coordinator.
