PrimeScan®383.0Blue right arrow IconThis product is a polyolefin-based, clay-coated film designed to be compatible with most common impact, and many non-impact, print methods. It is waterproof, tear resistant, grease resistant, and resists temperature fluctuations. It will die cut and fold easily and is compatible with hot foil stamping and embossing. Similar to paper, PrimeScan is a film with memory. To minimize pickers curl in hand-applied applications, remove the liner from the facestock when possible (rather than the face from liner). Outdoor durability is up to 18 months, depending on climate and exposure conditions.

Smudgeproof Kimdura® FPG-80563.8Blue right arrow IconThis film is a matte white, multi-layer polypropylene film top-coated to provide premium dot matrix and thermal transfer print images. Outdoor exposure is up to one year. Typical applications include shelf marking and container labeling. The product is no longer warranted for Flexographic or any non-thermal printing methods based on feedback from the facestock supplier.

It also works well in many color and monochrome ink jet printers. Its dimensional stability and strength properties make it an excellent choice for laser and ink jet applications. The cover-up primer is an opaque barrier coating that inhibits show-through of text and graphics on the substrate beneath the label.

An opaque barrier coat applied to the backside of the facestock adds opacity for hiding underlying text or graphics.
